Nel messaggio di ottobre 2017, vi abbiamo informato dell’accettazione da parte di ESCO delle nostre definizioni per “Radiografo diagnostico“, “Radiografo di medicina nucleare” e “Radiografo terapeutico“.
Siamo orgogliosi di informarvi che ESCO ha appena confermato di aver aggiornato la professione di Radiographer collegandola ai “Professionisti” principali del Gruppo 2 di ISCO-08 anziché ai “Tecnici e professionisti associati” del Gruppo 3 di ISCO.
L’ESCO è la classificazione multilingue delle competenze, competenze, qualifiche e occupazioni europee e le categorizza come rilevanti per il mercato del lavoro dell’UE e per l’istruzione e la formazione.
Il riconoscimento corretto dei radiografi come “professionisti” è avvenuto dopo molti anni di lavoro e ora cercheremo di utilizzare questo successo per far progredire queste professioni, insieme all’ISRRT, a livello mondiale con l’Organizzazione internazionale del lavoro per il loro sistema di classificazione ISCO .

In the message below from October 2017 we informed you about the acceptance by ESCO of our definitions for ‘Diagnostic Radiographer’, ‘Nuclear Medicine Radiographer’, and ‘Therapeutic Radiographer’.We are proud to inform you that ESCO just confirmed that they have upgraded the Radiographer profession by linking it to the ISCO-08 Major Group 2“Professionals” instead of ISCO Major Group 3 “Technicians and Associate Professionals”.ESCO is the multilingual classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations and categorises these as relevant for the EU labour market and for education and training.The correct recognition of Radiographers as ‘Professionals’ has come about after many years of work and we will now be looking to use this success to progress this, together with the ISRRT, at the worldwide level with the International Labour Organization for their ISCO rating system.Jonathan McNultyEFRS President……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….From: info@efrs.eu
Sent: 04 October 2017 17:24Recently the EFRS has been very involved in having the radiographer profession mentioned in the first version of ESCO with the correct professional titles and skills. The ESCO project group approved our submission and fitted the data into their pre fixed format.The classification is now available in 26 languages (the 24 EU languages, Icelandic and Norwegian).
